About Visionary

About Visionary

Visionary was founded around a simple idea: manufacturers should have an easier way to find, evaluate, integrate, and support the right equipment for their operation.

Leadership

The people behind Visionary.

Nearly two decades each in metalforming, technical sales and operational leadership — and one shared idea of how buying manufacturing equipment ought to work.

Hunter Coe

Founder & President/CEO

Hunter started on the plant floor at COE Press Equipment in 2008 — the company his father John founded in 1976 — and worked up through assembly, service and sales, becoming President in 2015 and CEO in 2017. Under his leadership COE opened a new market with a profitable cut-to-length systems business, and DBusiness Magazine named him one of its 30 in Their Thirties in 2016. He founded Visionary around a simple idea: manufacturers should have an easier way to find, evaluate, integrate and support the right equipment for their operation — one trusted resource instead of a list of suppliers to coordinate. Today he works directly with customers and manufacturing partners on the production problems that have no catalogue answer, and his enthusiasm for people, for building relationships and for solving things creatively is most of what Visionary's culture is made of.

Hunter Coe

Founder & President/CEO

Hunter Coe is the Founder and President/CEO of Visionary Manufacturing Solutions, bringing nearly two decades of hands-on experience in metalforming, coil processing, manufacturing equipment, and executive leadership.

Hunter began his career in 2008 at COE Press Equipment, the company founded by his father, John Coe, in 1976. During more than a decade with the organization, he gained experience from the ground up, holding roles in assembly, service, sales, and strategic sales before becoming President in 2015 and CEO in 2017. This progression gave Hunter a unique understanding of the manufacturing industry—from what happens on the plant floor to what it takes to successfully lead and grow an equipment organization.

Under his leadership, COE expanded into new markets with the launch of a profitable cut-to-length systems business, and in 2016 Hunter was recognized by DBusiness Magazine as one of its 30 in Their Thirties business professionals.

That combination of technical experience, industry knowledge, executive leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset ultimately became the foundation for Visionary Manufacturing Solutions.

Hunter founded Visionary around a simple idea: manufacturers should have an easier way to find, evaluate, integrate, and support the right equipment for their operation. Rather than requiring customers to coordinate multiple suppliers independently, Visionary serves as a single, trusted resource capable of bringing together comprehensive, customer-tailored metalforming solutions.

Today, Hunter works closely with customers and manufacturing partners to solve complex production challenges and develop solutions designed around each customer's specific operation and long-term goals. His genuine enthusiasm for people, relationship building, creative problem-solving, and unmistakable sense of humor continue to shape Visionary's culture and approach to doing business.

For Hunter, the goal isn't simply to sell equipment. It's to create a better customer experience, build lasting partnerships, and deliver robust solutions that help manufacturers succeed from concept through production—and beyond.

What it means to be Visionary

We're building the kind of company we want to work for.

We're building more than a manufacturing solutions company. We're building the kind of company we want to work for.

That means trusting good people to make decisions. Giving them the freedom to take initiative. Supporting each other when challenges arise. Celebrating the wins. Learning from the misses. And always looking for a better way forward.

We move quickly, think creatively, and take our work seriously—without always taking ourselves too seriously.

No permission required

Around here, you don't have to wait for permission to make a difference.

Chase it.

See a problem?

Help solve it.

Have an idea?

Bring it.

Make a commitment?

Own it.

How we work

Our core values.

Self-starting

See it. Own it. Move it forward.

We take initiative, stay curious, and come prepared. Our team is resourceful, adaptable, and ready to move challenges forward with confidence.

Energetic

Bring the energy.

We bring enthusiasm, positivity, and momentum to everything we do—showing up ready to serve our customers, support our partners, and contribute to the team.

Ambitious + driven

Set the bar high. Then go after it.

We set meaningful goals, stay disciplined in our approach, and work with purpose to deliver results our customers and team can count on.

Relationship + network builder

Relationships aren't part of our business. They are our business.

We believe strong relationships are the foundation of great work. We build trust through honest communication, follow-through, and a genuine investment in long-term partnerships.

Grounded

Stay steady. Use good judgment.

We stay thoughtful, respectful, and steady in how we work. Our decisions are guided by good judgment, responsibility, and care for the people we serve.

Integrity

Do what you say you're going to do.

Our actions, communication, and decisions are rooted in honesty, accountability, and doing the right thing—even when no one is watching.

Humility

Confidence without ego.

We listen, learn, collaborate, and recognize that none of us has all the answers. The best solutions are built together.

Serious about what we do

Not always so serious about ourselves.

Manufacturing is demanding. Customer problems are real. Deadlines matter.

That doesn't mean we can't enjoy the people we're doing it with.

Whether we're on a customer floor solving a problem, walking a trade show, celebrating a win, grabbing dinner after a long day, or giving each other a hard time back at the office, we believe the people you work with make the journey a whole lot better.

Do great work. Be a good human. Enjoy the ride.

Success means more when you share it.

Who thrives at Visionary?

You'll probably feel at home here if you…

We're building Visionary with people who want to make an impact. You don't have to know everything on day one — but you should be curious, you should care, you should take ownership, and you should bring some energy with you.

Take initiative.

You don't need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what to do next.

Like solving problems.

Challenges don't stop you. They make you curious.

Build relationships naturally.

You understand that business is ultimately about people.

Want to win.

You're ambitious, competitive with yourself, and motivated by progress.

Stay humble.

You're confident enough to contribute and humble enough to listen.

Take ownership.

If you say you're going to do something, people can count on you.
